Hello again friends, family and followers! We are now comfortably nestled in the warm jungle of a garden we now call our home- at Mantis and Moon backpackers in Umzumbe on the South Coast, about 100kms from Durban. We are working here with a team of fun, friendly individuals from SA and abroad, and Venus is now part of the rather hefty M&M canine 6 pack. In the next few days I'll be putting together a few more photos of the projects we're doing and our visit to the super awesome Wedge surfboard factory/shaping bay- but here are some others on our south coast tab in the meantime. Back online and doing fine...

Hello family and friends! Wow, what a fantastic four weeks we've had since we left good old Jeffrey's Bay on our Transkei trip. There are lots of photos to put together and lots of things to remember so we're doing it little by little. Here's the first week for you- Cintsa, Haga Haga, Morgan Bay, Mazeppa Bay, Coffee Bay. Check it out on our new Transkei page (best to scroll down all the way to the bottom and read backwards up to the top) Today we arrived in Port St John's and there's internet and electricity here so we'll be a bit more connected for now- more to come soon- keep smiling everyone! It was my birthday yesterday! We had a really delicious snoek braai in the evening, with salads and a cranberry and mint punch- and I got a surprise birthday cake! All round a very happy day. Thank you to everyone who sent messages, called, made me breakfast (jeff), gave me hugs and made me feel super special- love to you all! x

hello friends- yes, we're still alive and smiling! We've been spending time with family and friends in Sedgefield and Jeffrey's Bay. Looks like we may head off towards the Transkei sometime next week- but for now Ubuntu is our home again!
